Our Story

My name is Erika Quesada, and I am the owner of Golden Crumb Baking Co., formerly known as Konfections by Kita.

 

Ever since I was a little girl, I have had a major sweet tooth just like my grandma. My grandma absolutely loved to bake, and she has passed that passion down to both my mother and I. Growing up, baking was something that brought me peace and was not only enjoyable, but empowering. Creating scrumptious desserts with my own two hands showed me what I was capable of and over time, I realized that I should position myself in a way that allowed me to use my natural talents to serve my community. Building my own bakery has given me the platform to do just that, as well as continue learning and refining my skills. This entire experience has been made even more special by having my mother by my side through it all!

 

Since starting my small business back in June of 2023, we have taken part in several community events, served hundreds of customers, and continued to expand our offerings. At our core, we recognize how important it is to show up and serve with enthusiasm, optimism, integrity, and honesty. These are things that we are unwilling to compromise on, and we hope that you, as our customers, can see the hard work and dedication we put forth to ensure you walk away with nothing but a positive experience.
